Garret Mandel is an associate attorney at Porter Law Group. His practice focuses on general civil litigation with emphasis in the areas of business, construction and real estate law, including the representation of contractors, subcontractors, developers, material suppliers, and design professionals.

Garret has been integrally involved with litigating, arbitrating and mediating matters concerning claims for delay and impact, design deficiencies, payment disputes, cost overruns, and construction defects. He also advises clients in business transactions, including but not limited to entity and contract formation, corporate governance and dissolution, buy-sell agreements, and intellectual property matters.

Garret gained an extensive business background before practicing law which has provided him with a practical, hands-on approach in resolving real-world problems faced by his clients. Accordingly, he strives to provide legal services that are efficiently and creatively tailored to uniquely support each of his client’s respective goals.

Mr. Mandel received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and all California state courts.
