Jason Rose is a shareholder with Porter Law Group. His practice focuses on
the areas of real estate and construction law, including mechanics lien and
stop payment claims, construction defects, and contract disputes; partition or
termination of joint ownership of property; nondisclosure; professional
liability; insurance claims; bankruptcy; unfair competition/unlawful business
practices; and labor and employment matters.

Jason has a strong interest in the construction industry. His grandfather and
father are both general contractors. Before law school, he worked as an
underground construction manager for AT&T.

Relevant Experience

Mr. Rose’s prior experience includes working as a partner at two national law
firms that served as panel counsel for numerous insurance companies
involving employment matters, premises liability, personal injury, property
damage claims, SIU, general liability, lemon law, and construction defects. He
also handled first party claims, including coverage opinions and examinations
under oath. Jason was named a Northern California Super Lawyer – Rising
Star for five years running, 2016 to 2020.

Education

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Dominican University of California and
his Juris Doctor from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. In
addition to graduating with great distinction, Jason was named to the Order
of the Coif (top 10% of graduates), the Traynor Honor Society, and the Dean’s
List. Jason is licensed to practice law in the states of California, Nevada, and
Texas, the United States District Courts, Eastern District of California,

Colorado, Nevada, and the Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern Districts
of Texas and the United States Tax Court.
